Education has become one of the hottest majors at FAMU as school districts continue to recognize the University as one of the nation’s greatest resources for African-American teachers

Our Education fair, known as Teacher Recruitment Day, is held in December for the fall semester and in April for the spring semester.  Approximately 75 school districts nationwide participate in TRD each semester. For more information, please contact Mr. Cecile Washington at (850) 599-3700.
